Dr Caetlin Jopson

Caetlin is a highly qualified and experienced practitioner who is known for her compassionate and caring approach.

Dr Caetlin Jopson is an Australian registered medical practitioner having graduated in 1990. She has advanced qualifications as a General Practitioner and has had specialised training in weight management  (SCOPE – a world recognised obesity course)  and has run a multidisciplinary weight loss clinic since 2017.

Caetlin was educated in Sydney and at the age of 17 she had a life-changing experience as an exchange student in Thailand which inspired her to become a doctor. She has subsequently pursued a broad medical career having worked in rural, remote and urban areas of Australia as well as overseas.

Caetlin has lived and worked as a General Practitioner in Brisbane for over 20 years. She thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to deliver specialised women’s health services with the Royal Flying Doctor Service in the Torres Strait over a 7 year period.

Since 2017,  she has managed a multidisciplinary diabetes and weight loss “Your Healthy Body” clinic. In addition, she has advanced skills in women’s health, travel medicine, Indigenous health and public health.

Caetlin volunteers as a doctor in Cambodia and is the mother of  two teenage boys.

  • MPH&TM     Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine
  • FRACGP      Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners
